Game Specific Rules

The following are the rules for FIFA 10 on XBox360 for the NamLAN 2009.

Game and Match settings

Mode: Exhibition Match / Player vs Player

Team: Any (4¹/₂ - 5 Star teams are best options)

Team Management: Maximum of 5 minutes allowed for making changes before match and second half - 2x substitutions during match (1 minute for sub changes allowed) Prior to making any changes to one‟s team, the player that wants to make a change must be in possession of the ball and be in his own half before he pauses the game. In the last few minutes of the game it is not allowed to make any changes to one‟s team

Match Time Limit: 6 Mins per half

Stadium: Any

Weather & Time of day: default

Controller Settings: Default

Injuries = OFF / Offside = ON / Bookings = ON

Legs and Rounds

Leg 1 / Round 1

• All 16 gamers will challenge each other in a round robin series of matches (4 matches will be played at one time - 1 match per opponent)
• Top 8 gamers will advance to Leg 2

Leg 2 / Round 1 (Quater Finals)

• All 8 gamers in Leg 2 group will challenge each other in a round robin series of matches (2 matches will be played at one time - 1 match per opponent)
• Top 4 gamers will advance to Round 2 (Semi Finals)

Leg 2 / Round 2 (Semi Finals)

• All 4 gamers in Leg 2 group 2 will challenge each other in a round robin series of matches (2 matches will be played at one time - 1 match per opponent)
• Top 2 gamers will advance to Round 3 (Finals)
• Bottom 2 gamers will advance to Round 3 (3rd place play-off)

Leg 2 / Round 3 (Finals and 3rd place play-off)

• Top two gamers from Round 2 will challenge each other in the final match to determine the 1st and 2nd place winners.
• Bottom two gamers from Round 2 will challenge each other in the play-off match to determine the 3rd and 4th place winners.
